  • Cinnamon powder to taste (optional).
  • Jaggery (amount depends on personal preference)
  • Cocoa powder (unsweetened)- optional- depending on personal preference
  • Grated coconut (optional, depending on flavor)

What is the best way to prepare a quick breakfast cereal?

Step 1

Dry roast the breakfast cereals that you have selected for 10 minutes on a dry pan. 

Step 2

Cook the nuts and seeds separately for 5 minutes each in the same manner as in Step 2. 

Step 3

Combine all of the cereals, nuts, and seeds in a large mixing bowl.

Step 4

Sprinkle the jaggery powder on top of the roasted mixture from the top down.

Step 5

Combine all of the ingredients.

Step 6

Sprinkle the mixture with cinnamon and cocoa powder/coconut.

Step 7

Recombine all of the ingredients.

Step 8

Allow the mixture to cool completely before transferring it to a glass or stainless steel container.

What is the proper way to consume this?

Consume your cornflakes/ muesli/ granola in the manner in which you choose, adding milk (hot or cold) or yogurt as desired. You may also include a banana or any other fruits of your choosing.
